The File

The file is compressed into a .RAR or .ZIP file

Inside this file you need search a file with format (.cso/.iso/.dax). Extract this file (the game) to your computer or your psp and be happy.

The PSP allows portability for playing games as the PSP games are stored on a small UMD disc that you can carry around. Aside from the UMD disc, you can also store PSP games onto your memory stick. This is a simple guide on how to download PSP games from your computer to your PSP using a memory stick.

Firstly I recommend you purchase a 1GB memory stick but a 256MB one should be fine if you can't afford a larger capacity. The bigger the memory stick the more you can download onto your PSP. Make sure your PSP version is 1.5 . Not only will you be able to download games, you can also download PSP music, PSP movies, PSP tv shows, and lots more!

You download your games off from sites like PSP CONSOLE and onto your PC and then transfer your game (or music/video/image) files to your PSP via a USB cable. USB cables are very cheap to buy if you don't already have one.

When your PSP is connected to your computer, your PSP will apear as a removable memory source (similar to a USB drive). It will assign a drive letter (which one will depend on your computer configuration) and you will be able to drag and drop your PSP games, PSP music, PSP movies and so on onto your memory stick or card. So to re-iterate:

Step 1

Copy your PSP game or video files to the correct path on the PSP or the games won't work. The correct path is PSP>GAME (all the folder names are in caps)

Step 2

After the PSP games are fully transferred onto your memory stick, disconnect the PSP from your computer. In your PSP main menu, scroll to GAME and then select Memory Stick option. Press the X button, and a list of available games/videos (and more!) in your memory stick will be displayed. If you find any errors on your PSP, you might want to check your firmware version (make sure it is version 1.5!)
